Spilt coffee down the front of my pants this morning, dirtied my chair and pants. Fortunately, I did not scald myself and I was wearing coffee colored pants. I also brought a change of clothes for after gym. I didn't want to bring them initially, but grabbed them as I was rushing off for work this morning. So now I look like a news caster, formally dressed on top, but wearing shorts on the bottom.

I also just sent out a kuku email without consulting my boss and/or team mate and kenna bua. Ultimate Tuesday blues man.

Went Chinatown for dinner yesterday and got stuck in the crowd in front of Lucky Chinatown. Amazingly, we got stuck at the part in front of the stage.

There was an endless stream of lions prancing along the road throughout the whole performance. They're really nice. There was one in hot pink fur and bling bling pink sequins. LOL. Managed to catch the fireworks as well. They were beautiful, but I left my cam in the car, so no pics. Hahaha. :p

Bought curtains from IKEA to cover my bedroom door (Which means if you walk past my flat every morning before today, you could have seen me changing in my room from the front door. D:). The prints are really nice, it's actually an infinite loop of coins. :) Hope it brings me a more huat huat 2008.

See the arrow pointing to those weird prints? One time I walked into the door and got an orh cheh on my nose. My mom got me these tiles to stick on the glass door after that. LOL.

Pets Farm Visit

We went to Pasir Ris pet farms again last Saturday, and I bumped into Buru. She's a parti-coloured poodle going for SGD 2,000. Nearly bought her on impulse, luckily I left my wallet in the car.

We also met a mini Oreo in brown color.

There was an albino poodle as well. First time in my entire life that I encountered an albino puppy. It kept bullying the little red poodle next to it. I find the albino puppy quite adorable with its pink nose, but it'll be very sad if I buy it and it has a shorter lifespan than normal. As it is, I am very worried about ah bit. He's already 6 years old this year.

There were two adorable and frisky Japanese Spitz as well.

We also met a very funny Chow Chow. When it saw me approaching, it jumped up and balanced its stomach on the play pen, trying to rock himself out of it. Such a sight! Hahaha. Too bad I didn't manage to capture a picture of it doing that.

We went to Pet U Megamart after and there was this huge doggie. It was kicking its forelegs like a horse! It actually stands (on all four legs) at a height taller than my waist. There was another huge black dog in the shop as well.

Resolutions Review
I made the following resolutions in the beginning of 2007:

Finish my HYP on time AND get a good grade for it.

Concentrate on my studies this sem and hopefully pull my CAP up to 4.

Find a job I like.

And I'm sad to say that I achieved none of them. :(

At the same time, I also made the following plans to be achieved by 2012:

Get myself a PDA.

Earn enough to hire a weekend maid so I don't have to spend time on housework anymore.

Earn enough so that my parents don't have to work so hard anymore.

Earn enough to let my parents go on overseas trips now and then.

I managed to achieve 1. I don't wanna do 2 anymore, and I can't seem to earn enough for 3, 4 and 5. 6 and 7 look like they're not gonna happen.

Based on what I have achieved this year, on a scale of 10, I'll give this year a 5. Quite shit, but not totally shit either. Looking forward to a better 2008! Huat ah~

Been wanting to post a pic of my phone ever since I dolled it up, but never got around to doing it. Anyway, I bought my own crystals and little white roses and stuck them onto my phone using nail polish. Looks real girl right? :p

I ordered a customised hard cover for my DS Lite through play-asia, and collected the package yesterday. :) Looks quite nice when you open up the DS cos it forms a complete picture of Shinryu from Dragonball Z.

No, I'm not a fan of Dragonball Z, I just like the dragon. Dan dan says I'm very lian! LOL

The salesman was selling those mini direct print printers as well, so I got him to take a picture of MZ and me and print 2 copies for us. I chatted with him so much that he got confused and nearly gave me two sets of camera cases. Wahaha. And I like how it doesn't capture my shit complexion. :)

JLPT 3 exam on Sunday, debonding my braces on Tuesday, guild outing and Japanese Qualifying Test on Friday. I totally missed out booking a slot for the qualifying test. :( Gonna try and get a slot. If I don't, I can only enrol in the Intermediate class with my JLPT 4 cert. D:

In any case, I have no confidence in passing the JLPT 3 exam. Haven't touched my Japanese for 3 whole years. Time spent in JMS is not counted. :x

Both CS and PN just came back from holiday trips. CS and Cheryl brought me a test tube of flowers from Hokkaido. It's very pretty and something that I really like. :) It's supposed to smell like Lavender, but the smell reminds me of something else... that I forgot the name to. Haha. Nonetheless, it's still pretty. :)

PN got me a cute vietnamese girl from Hanoi. I put her with my photo frame and Eeyore on my desk. Looks real cute.

And this is Eva, my iPod Shuffle. During installation, there was a prompt for me to name the device and the name Eva just popped into my head. Haha.

A couple of weeks back, I nearly walked into Harvey Norman and bought an iPod on impulse. Luckily I didn't and got this as a gift instead. Everybody's reading my mind this year. Even when I popped my earphones on Eva to test her out, the very first song she started playing was 当你离开的时候 by Tanya, which I was thinking about in my mind at that moment. Lol.

My mom made me a dress for our company's Dinner & Dance, cos there's S$200 to be won for every best dressed in each era. She was really excited about the event and kept asking me shoes how, makeup how, accessories how, bag how. Lol. Anyway, she made me a disco ball dress. It was really bulky and I had to go home and change into it before going out, instead of bringing it to office, changing into it and going straight from there. :p

Phuket Highlights! - ATV + Ice Cream + Towel Hats!

After our visit to the temple, we went on the ATV rides. It's freaking expensive, about SGD 71 for only an hour. But gotta try it once for the experience la. That's a mangrove swamp behind us in the pic. :)

We spent our afternoon looking for things to buy before going for a massage. It was raining pretty heavily that day, the roads were flooded. Luckily transport to the massage place was provided.

Then we spent the night counting cash and playing with towel hats which can double as dumbbells! Hahaha.

The third day was certainly more accomplished than the second day. :D

Our guide brought us to Wat Chalong on the third day. Wat stands for temple. Luang Pho Chaem is one of the revered monks with a statue in the temple.

Our tour guide, Nina, has the exact same mannerisms as BJ, they both talk the same way, push their specs up the same way, wear their hair the same way and are both petite. The whole time I listen to her, it's like looking at BJ.

Each day of the week has a position associated with it. I was born on a Thursday and it's the meditation position. JJ's born on a Monday, Su See on a Sunday and XJ on a Wednesday. But only JJ and I were doing the poses correctly. Lol.

Phuket Highlights! - Phi Phi Island

On the second day, we went to Phi Phi Island. Transport arrived at 7.30 am (Bangkok time) but we were late 10 mins and the driver was so pissed and displayed symptoms of road rage. He practically flew us to the harbor. The ferry trip there and back were 2.5 hours each time. Half the day gone just like that. :/ We were advised against taking the speedboat cos it's end of monsoon season and weather is a little unpredictable. But we saw so many speedboats overtaking us man. And they overloaded the ferry, both on the way there and back.

Second day was kinda boring and waste of time and money. :x 5 hours spent doing nothing on the ferry, then we watched the Thai Girl show at night, which was a freaking waste of time and money as well. It was more expensive than the cabaret, in a sleazy part of town, and only two girls had secret skills. The rest was just soft porn which you can download online if you wanted to. >.> This picture is taken along the road with all the pubs and clubs. JJ bought me the horny hairband. :p

Took some photos at Changi Airport, and the queue at Phuket Airport was freaking long. Haha. :p They gave me the window seat cos I'm a suakoo and don't remember what it's like to take a plane. Haha. I was so excited when the plane took off, JJ kept laughing at me. :D

We stayed at The Blue Marine Resort & Spa. Our room came with a king sized bed (shiok!), a bath tub that can fit 2 and you can have a threesome in the shower. LOL!

Transport
We traveled around in Tuk-Tuks, or the tour agency's van or our tour guide's car. Haha. Tuk-Tuk's pricing is per trip, before you get on you gotta haggle with the driver.

Food
The food at Phuket was bad, don't be deceived by the pictures. But the airplane food weren't too bad. :D We had tomyam soup and pineapple rice for almost every meal (sorta like trying to find the best one), until I got sick of it and we ordered fried glass noodles on the third night. Lol. Moreover the pineapple rice weren't nice, tomyam soup not bad though. And as you can see, we stopped taking pictures of food on the 3rd day. LOL!

We had a departmental games event yesterday after work. Pitting the four teams together, we had to play games like Snakes & Ladders, Uno, Jenga, Carrom, Aeroplane Chess and Chinese Chess. My gf and I decided to play Uno and Jenga since we wanted to go home early and these games seemed to be the only ones that we can win/lose fast. I won my first Uno game fairly quickly and swapped places with her for Jenga.

Mary and her husband Jim had a dog, Lucky. Lucky was a real character. Whenever Mary and Jim had company come for a weekend visit they would warn their friends to not leave their luggage open because Lucky would help himself to whatever struck his fancy.Inevitably, someone would forget and something would come up missing. Mary or Jim would go to Lucky's toy box in the basement and there the treasure would be, amid all of Lucky's favorite toys. Lucky always stashed his finds in his toy box and he was very particular that his toys stay in the box.

It happened that Mary found out she had breast cancer. Something told her she was going to die of this disease, she was just sure it was fatal. She scheduled the double mastectomy, fear riding her shoulders.

The night before she was to go to the hospital she cuddled with Lucky. A thought struck her...what would happen to Lucky? Although the three-year-old dog liked Jim, he was Mary's dog through and through. If I die, Lucky will be abandoned, Mary thought. He won't understand that I didn't want to leave him. The thought made her sadder than thinking of her own death.

The double mastectomy was harder on Mary than her doctors had anticipated and Mary was hospitalized for over two weeks. Jim took Lucky for his evening walk faithfully, but the little dog just drooped, whining and miserable.

Finally the day came for Mary to leave the hospital. When she arrived home, Mary was so exhausted she couldn't even make it up the steps to her bedroom. Jim made his wife comfortable on the couch and left her to nap.

Lucky stood watching Mary but he didn't come to her when she called. It made Mary sad but sleep soon overcame her and she dozed. When Mary woke for a second she couldn't understand what was wrong. She couldn't move her head and her body felt heavy and hot. But panic soon gave way to laughter when Mary realized the problem. She was covered, literally blanketed, with every treasure Lucky owned!

While she had slept, the sorrowing dog had made trip after trip to the basement bringing his beloved mistress all his favorite things in life. He had covered her with his love.

Mary forgot about dying. Instead she and Lucky began living again, walking further and further together every night.

It's been 12 years now and Mary is still cancer-free.

Lucky? He still steals treasures and stashes them in his toy box but Mary remains his greatest treasure.

Live everyday to the fullest. Remember it is a blessing from God.

My dad always leaves a note regarding dinner, but today's note is so cute, I had to blog it.

I always avoid eating fish if I can, and only eat certain breeds of fish. So my dad explicitly left me a note today telling me eat the fish, and watch out for the bones. So cute man, he actually drew fish bones. Hahaha.

Spent Saturday at Sentosa cos I've been dying to see Sasha, Rinna's poodle, plus Qiurong said she missed me. But she didn't turn up cos she was running a fever. I think it's her sleeping habits that caused the fever.

I finally got to kayak (after sooooo long). It was quite kuku actually. I actually paid for an hour's slot, cos that's usually how long I kayak at East Coast. But then I realised that they have a boundary in the sea, and the area is really small. Half an hour was enough for me, and I was getting bored with the scenery. I went to the stall and asked if I could just pay for only half an hour's slot, but no go. Zzz. Went back to finish up the next half an hour. And this is me waving from the sea.

I also made another new friend, Jilian. She has beautiful hair.

Tei At The End Doesn't Mean It's A Restaurant Okay

Okay, so I wanted to treat my KawaiiLG and HJM to dinner right. KawaiiLG recommended this website to me and we started looking through restaurant reviews. In the end we settled on this restaurant. Go on, click on the link, read through the webpage and then tell me it looks like a nice place to treat friends to. Ok, so we agreed on meeting for dinner this Wednesday (which was yesterday) and I decided to make my reservations last Friday.

So, last Friday. I called them up and the girl said, she'll call me back, when I told her I wanted to make a reservation. So she did, but I was in the gym, so I called her back after gym and told her I wanted to make reservations for 3 on Wednesday evening 7.15 pm. She said, sure, ok, we'll see you on weds. Then I said, don't you want my name? She said, no, it's ok. You're just coming here and ordering off the menu right? I said, ya. Then she said, yeah, that'll be ok. Seeya weds then. So that was it on Friday.

Ok, so yesterday arrived and KawaiiLG said she'll be late, so I called the girl up again and said, I'll be changing my reservation to 7.30pm. She said, sure ok. No issues, you're just coming here and ordering off the menu right? I said yeah. Then she said, yeah, that's no problem then.

Okay... so, we worked and work ended and we met up. KawaiiLG reached there first and she told me that I had to see this. Guess what the stall looks like? Ta-da! It's a store in a food court. LOL! Then I said, hey, I'm gonna call them and cancel my reservation! HAHAHAHAHAHA. Anyway, we went off without calling, and I sorta wondered whether she will call me to ask if I'm still coming! HAHAHAHA

We laughed at how stupid it was, and it finally dawned on me why she didn't even want my name. And not only did I make a reservation with a STALL IN A FOOD COURT, I even called to change my reservation timing! Hahahahaha. In the end, we ate at Sushi Tei. Hahahaha.

I think this is true too. When I'm out with my girlfriends (ex schoolmates or my cousins), there are some times when I just wanna 撒娇, and you can't really do it with girls. Lol. Feels awfully weird. Plus it's a really warm feeling when the person you love indulges you ok. Lol.

My course ended early today, so I thought I'd go back to the office then go gym with my gf and mistress after work. As I was waiting for bus back to the office, 2 bus 30 came and went. It's the bus I take to go home. So I was smsing my gf that it's definitely a sign from up above, telling me to go home. She says I have defied the powers that be by not taking either of those buses. Lol. So I told her, ok, I'll definitely take the third bus 30, cos 3 is a magic number.

Guess what? Bus 97 (bus to office) finally arrived... with the third bus 30 following behind. Lol. Anyway, I'm on the bus back to the office now. Haha.

P.S. I know the white Samoy on top is totally out of point, but I'm dying to blog about this uncanny bus coincidence, and I need a pic. Plus, it's cute ok. It has white eyelashes. Damn cool.

Ok, CS totally surprised me last week with his reaction at the coffee machine downstairs when I was talking about my sugar daddy.
